How do I create an online course?

Teach one person first. Document what works. Package the documentation. That's the course.

Don't start with a course. Start with a result. Help one person achieve something specific. Write down the steps. Those steps are your curriculum.

The course sells itself when the outcome is clear. "After this, you'll be able to X" is more compelling than "This course covers X." Speak in outcomes, not topics.

Keep it short. Each lesson should be one idea. If it takes more than 10 minutes, split it. The best courses are collections of short, dense lessons — not long lectures.

Prove it once, sell it twice.
