Some assets never get their second chance.

Markets follow patterns until they don't. The textbook cycle: bear, accumulation, bull, distribution, repeat. Clean phases with clear transitions.

Reality is messier.

Some assets fall so hard they skip recovery entirely. They go from one bear market straight into the next without breathing room between.

The assets that skip bull markets teach us something valuable: not everything deserves to come back.

Instead, it moves to assets strong enough to survive multiple winters. Assets that earn their bull markets instead of expecting them.
