Glossary
24 terms. The language behind everything we build.
Leverage
Producing disproportionate results from a single unit of effort. Labor produces one output per input. Leverage multiplies it. Four forms: labor, capital, code, media.
Proof of Work
Demonstrating ability through output instead of credentials. Show what you can do, not what you say you can do.
Build Once, Sell Twice
Create something once that generates revenue repeatedly. A book, a course, a tool, a template. The work happens once. The selling happens forever.
Permissionless Apprenticeship
Creating value for someone without asking first. Do the work, show the result, let them decide if they want more.
Compounding
Exponential growth from consistent effort over time. Each output becomes an input for the next cycle. The first rule: never interrupt it unnecessarily.
Selling Sawdust
Monetizing the byproducts of your primary work. The process of building something creates materials others would pay for — documentation, templates, frameworks, insights.
Content Leverage
Using published content as a scalable sales force. One piece of content can reach millions. One salesperson cannot.
Trust Profile
The accumulated evidence that you can deliver what you promise. Built through proof of work, testimonials, case studies, and consistent public output.
Value Gap
The distance between what you can do and what the market will pay for. Closing this gap is the fundamental challenge of building a business.
Productization
Turning a service or skill into a repeatable, sellable product. Moving from trading hours for dollars to building something that sells without you.
Context is Capital
Your accumulated experience is the new competitive advantage. AI makes execution cheap. Knowing what to execute on is expensive.
The Taste Layer
The human judgment that determines what AI output is worth keeping. Generation is free. Curation is the skill.
Labor vs. Leverage
Two ways to earn: sell your time (labor) or deploy systems that work without you (leverage). Most people default to labor.
Visualize Value
The practice of distilling complex ideas into simple, powerful images. One concept. One visual. Maximum clarity.
Onchain Art
Artwork stored and transacted on a blockchain. The ledger is the provenance. The smart contract is the gallery.
Open Edition
An artwork available to anyone for a fixed period at a fixed price. Supply is determined by demand, not the artist.
Composability
The ability to combine, transform, or destroy digital assets to create new ones. Outputs become inputs.
Consensus
Collective agreement on what has value. Markets, blockchains, and culture all run on consensus. Consensus is temporary.
Writing Profile
A machine-readable document that captures voice, style, rhetorical patterns, and word-level mechanics. Enables AI to produce output in a specific voice.
MCP Server
Model Context Protocol server. A standard for giving AI agents access to external data and capabilities. The AI calls your tool; your tool returns results.
Vibe Coding
Building software by describing what you want to an AI that writes the code. The developer provides direction and taste. The AI provides execution.
Ship
To publish, deploy, or release. The act of making work available to the world. Done is better than perfect.
Burn Rate
The rate at which you spend money. Know your number. Freedom is the gap between what you earn and what you burn.
Curriculum as Content
Using the structure of what you teach as a content strategy. Each lesson becomes a piece of publishable content. The course sells itself.
