Selling Sawdust
Monetizing the byproducts of your primary work. The process of building something creates materials others would pay for — documentation, templates, frameworks, insights.
Example: Building a business generates lessons. Packaging those lessons as a course is selling sawdust. The course is a byproduct of the real work.
“Your work product and the system that creates it are two separate revenue streams.”
— Jack Butcher
