“We must not allow other people's limited perceptions to define us.”

We must not allow other people's limited perceptions to define us.

Virginia Satir

The way people perceive you is a function of their experience, not your worth. They see you through their lens. Their biases, their fears, their context.

That's useful information, but it's not a definition. You get to decide who you are. Other people's perceptions are data, not verdicts.
