We confuse our descriptions of reality with reality itself. The word "water" isn't wet. The map isn't the territory.
Most of what we call "reality" is actually a story we tell ourselves about reality. Filtered through language, framed by experience, limited by perspective. Direct experience is the only unfiltered truth.
