A reminder to distill, simplify, and focus on what matters

I have the book displayed on my bookshelf so that I see it every time I walk by. Just a quick glance at it reminds me to simplify things to their essence and focus on what matters. Sometimes I grab it and look at a couple quotes for a bit of inspiration.

One for home and one for the office

In our current world that is ruled by digital ecosystems its refreshing to be able to touch and hold such great wisdom in your hand. I love picking up the 1st Annual edition almost weekly to renew and refocus my mind via the printed wisdom that Jack has so brilliantly distilled visually, in his simple monochromatic style. It's easily worth twice what I paid for it.

This book is more than I hoped for. Very nice and elegant. Will be put on the coffee table for years to peek into on moments of reflection.

A simple approach to complexity

I love high quality paper goods, and this is certainly one of them. This book is gonna last. The minimalist design of these complex philosophical ideas and quotes have always been my favorite and being able to flip open a book when I feel particularly sour about my day/week/life is extremely helpful and motivating. My only qualm, there's so much empty space that the designs could have been bigger or the book smaller.

Find your voice, find your value

I’ve had the @visulizevalue book for a few days and there are three things that stood out. First, the book is of high quality. Book feels good in hand and the images are very clear. Secondly, I’m in awe that someone has that ability to capture, in visual form, the essence of the timeless quotes from different philosophers. Thirdly, once you get past the excitement of having the book and focus on the quotes themselves, you realize that they are all about inspiring action! In short, I recommend the book to anyone who wants to look inside themselves, find their inner voice, and understand what value they bring to the world. This book can serve as that initial mirror to help reflect inward and the rest of the @visualizevalue tools can help guide you through your own personal growth journey. I recommend the book so much, in fact, that I just gave away my first copy to a good friend who is starting his new personal venture. Excited to see how it helps him on his journey!
